Terms of Service

1. The service

The platform lets you upload field data, such as plot statistics and drone imagery, and returns crop-health scores, irrigation and nutrition assessments, and AI-generated recommendations. It is developed within the Smart Farming research project, co-funded by the European Union, and is provided free of charge for research and educational purposes.

2. Your account

• Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account; tell us straight away if you suspect someone else has used it.
• Use an e-mail address you control; we send a link to verify it when you sign up.
• One person per account. Do not share your login.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the platform for anything unlawful;
• upload data you have no right to use, or files containing malware;
• try to get around authentication, rate limits or other security measures, or access other users' data;
• overload the platform, or scrape it with automated tools;
• reverse-engineer the analysis models or resell access to the platform.

4. Your data

You keep all rights to the data you upload. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the platform to you: running analyses, showing results and generating recommendations. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Analysis results and AI recommendations

Scores, assessments and recommendations are produced automatically by statistical and machine-learning models and an AI language model. They are decision support, not professional agronomic advice. They depend on the quality of the data you upload, differ between the available models, and can be incomplete or wrong.

Check results against your own observations and, where it matters, a qualified advisor before acting on them, for example before irrigating, fertilising or harvesting. Decisions about your fields remain your own.

6. Availability and changes

The platform is a research tool. We aim to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, extend, restrict or discontinue features, including the analysis models, at any time.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. Because the platform is provided free of charge, we are otherwise not liable for slight negligence, in particular not for crop losses or other consequences of decisions based on analysis results or recommendations.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using the platform at any time and ask us to delete your account by e-mailing info@preunec.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the platform or other users at risk.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the platform changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the platform or by e-mail before it takes effect. If you keep using the platform after that, you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live.
